"Wait Up" as written by and Jeffrey Scott Tweedy....
Are you surprised it's me
Hope I didn't wake anybody
Honey, please wait up for me
I miss you more than I need sleep

Guess I'll let you go
Even though I don't want to
Honey, please wait up for me
I need you and I can't keep up this speed

General CommentSimple song, I love Tweedy's strange vocal cadence and the banjo picking that fills in the gaps. Banjo kinda sounds like; either the sound of a guys feet moving as he he desparately hurrying to get home OR the sound of a clock ticking while he is trying to do that. Or both concurrently. Kinda like the music they would play in a Disney movie when a little mouse is scurrying across the floor in haste.
