The unsettled mind as it climbs in the light
Leaving the senses to fend for themselves
The senses collect from the valuable data
Of beta carotene and ????
The unsettled mind as it climbs in the light
Leaving the senses to fend for themselves, then
the senses wander the sky

Chorus
Is there life in waiting for you
Is there life in waiting for you
Waiting for you

The national debt as it climbs in the light
Leaving the people to fend for themselves
The people collect of the undeniable data
of eyeballs weapons and microwaves
The national debt as it climbs in the light
Leaving the people to fend for themselves, then
The people found out the lie

(CHORUS)

Waiting to get you high
Waiting to touch the sky

(CHORUS)

this song is actually called "cencus" "waiting for you is the stupid fake title the bootlegger gave it

PS.. it's really is a shame that these songs got leaked.. and even more of a shame how fast they're spreading... now we wont have anything to look foreward to for the next album

I hope that bootlegger is happy...

Ummm... This has come to my attention, but you keep blaming a bootlegger. Did you know you are as a guilty as he is? And I know you own all of the new MP3's out, because you are like the rest of us SOAD fan's (or like any die-hard fan in general) the second we heard about the new song's, we jumped on out computers and DL the whole damn album. When we heard that they recorded over 30 tracks we all wanted them, now that we got them, I (and every other SOAD fan) are happier than a pig in shit (especially for Chick 'N Stew) and Serj said that since these songs leaked they won't use any of these tracks except for maybe soundtracks or compilations, and will start writing brand new material for their next album. So cheer up and stop the blame game.

I know stuff becuase i have frineds who know stuff, and yes, don't think i'm not happy that these songs made thier way out, the problem is soad is pissed as shit, and they have no material for thier next album now. it's sad and happy at the same time

I blame the bootlegger, becuase it's the bootlegger's fault they got out in the firs tplace.. or a hacker.. no one knows yet.. arrrr

Trust me, I wouldn't worry about the next album. The material on this album (with the exception of a few songs) wasn't going to be as good as anything off Toxicity, or even Self-titled. Songs like "We Don't Give a..." (PIG) or "Why" (K.I.T.T.) are just original demo's and as enjoyable they are to me, they aren't the best of work. So now that these songs are out, SOAD can now work on more bizzare original music, and leave these songs for compilations and such, cheer up! (they weren't gonna release this album for another year or so, I heard anyway)

yeah, the album wasn't scheduled to be out till early 2003, but it's been pushed back, since these songs gout out. Not sure why, you'd think that they'd want to get it out EARLIER, but whatchagonnado, eh?

i just put the actual songs on kazaa but i dont know all of the real names for them. the names i have them under are: .36, American Dream, Boom, Chick 'N Stew, Desecrate, Fortress, Highway Song, KITT, Pictures, Power Struggle, Virgin Tea, Waiting For You (Version 1), Waiting For You (Version 2), Want Me To Try. if by any chance you start downloading those and theyre not the real songs then something happened because i have them and im sure its really REALLY them. if you watch the backstage footage from toxicity you see shavo playing American Dream so i know that song is real.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
