Jenny said when she was just five years old
you know there's nothing happening at all
Every time she puts on the radio
There was nothing goin' down at all
Then one fine mornin' she puts on a New York station
She couldn't believe what she heard at all
She started dancin' to that fine fine music
You know her life was saved by Rock 'n' Roll
Despite all the amputations
You could just dance to a rock 'n' roll station
Jenny said when she was just five years old
My parents are gonna be the death of us all
Two TV sets and two Cadillac cars--
Ain't gonna help us at all
Then one fine mornin' she puts on a New York station
She don't believe what she heard at all
She started dancin' to that fine fine music
You know her life was saved by Rock 'n' Roll
Despite all the computations
You could just dance to a rock 'n ' roll station
and it was alright.

General CommentThis song is actually a cover, it's originally by the Velvet Undergrond, who have influenced them a lot (think Caroline says). Quite simply, it's just about discovering rock music for the first time, which is a feeling U'm sure we can all relate to. It's probably the most uplifting song i've ever heard. Please people, post your thoughts, there are none for this band!

General CommentHey dumbass, Lou Reed was in the velvet underground, he wrote this song while with the band and released it on the album Loaded in 1970, Lou's solo career didn't start until two years later, get your facts strait before you try to correct people like a cocky little brat.
