"Sleeping Bag" as written by and Beck Hansen....
Open up the door
Lay the orange juice on the floor
We're having a picnic on the other side of town

The sleeping bags on fire
And it's getting down to the wire
So grab yourself a spot and settle down awhile

Cause its getting hard to think
And my clothes are starting to shrink
And the moon is sagging down like a metal ball

And the world is a holiday
Smoking in an old ashtray
They just blow it out their nose and say ok

So lets try to make this last
The past is still the past
And tomorrow is just another crazy scam

General CommentThis song is essentially about rough, rough times.
    In poverty and homelessness.

General Commenti don't think the times are all that rough.
he seems to have an optimism that shakes off the more despairing side of homelessness.
even though he writes about the darker sides of it (steal my body home, hollow log)
beck always had a sparkle in his step. and a smile on his face when singing about his transient period.
    rock on beck. great song.
