You keep saying you've got something for me.
Something you call love, but confess.
You've been messin
Where you shouldn't have been messing.
Yeah.
And now someone else is getting all your best.

These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do.
One of these days,
These boots are gonna walk all over you.

You keep lying
When you ought to be truthin.
You keep losing when you are not bet.
You keep seeming when you ought to be changing.
And what's right is right
And you aint' been right yet.

These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do.
One of these days,
These boots are gonna walk all over you.

You keep playing where you shouldn't be playin.
You keep thinking that you'll never get burned.
HA!
I just found me a brand new box of matches,
Yeah.
And what he knows, you ain't had time to learn.

These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do.
One of these days,
These boots are gonna walk all over you.

Are you ready boots?
START WALKING!

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
