"People Gettin' Busy" as written by and Beck Hansen....
Walk to the bridge, stand like a fridge
Empty and cold, burning a light bulb

Right now
Get down
Right now
People getttin' busy

Right now
Get down
Right now
People gettin' busy

People gettin' so busy

The man gave me a ticket
When I tried to kick it
Breathin' on my biscuit
Kissin' my finger

Car alarm is goin'
Saxophone is blowin'
Baby I been throwin' at the dancin' children

Everything's so phony
If you wanna phone me
You can be my homey
Give me some sympathy

Right now
Get down
Right now
People gettin' busy

Right now
Get down
Right now
People gettin' busy

Gettin' busy

General CommentFrom the album Golden Feelings.

I always looked at the album as each song being done from the point of view from someone whose crappy situation is life is pushing him to insanity.

And by the time we get to this song (last on the album), the "protagonist" has lost touch with reality completely, and is now simply wandering up and the streets of his town, a silly grin forever frozen on his face.

The extra noise that plays after the song only confirms this.
