"And I" as written by Travis L Barker and Tom Delonge....
I am, lost in the crowd
I'm standing in line, I'm feeling so down
And I am, full of doubt
She's not the one, take notice, hear me out

I want her, and need her and you
Always will pull me through

I'm tired, this game's so dumb
She never played, her race is won
I'm tired, can't smile no more
I'll sure cave in, just like before

And I, want her, and need her and you
Always will pull me through
And I, want her, and need her and you
Always will pull me through

I want her, and need her and you
Always will pull me through
And I, want her, and need her and you
Always will pull me through
And I want her and need her
And I want her and need her
And I want her and need her
And I, and I, and I

    I agree with DidU FeelThePain,
I think the song is about 2 persons, and in my opinion, even 2 girls. It's somewhat the situation I am in. The I-person really likes this one girl he can or can't have, but he realizes that that girl "is not the one". The second person is a really good friend, and I think also a girl, someone he has a special connection with, like soulmates, and somewhere deep in himseld, he knows that that really good friend might be "the one", and not this girl he has a crush on.

General Commenti think thats a good explantion for it, like thedudes friend helps the through it so in the end relising its actualy their friend that is the one they really want

General Comment"and I, want her, and need her and you
always will pull me through" <--- This line means that Tom wants some girl but he can't have her, so in the mean time, he'll just fuck Mark. well that's what I get from it, you guys most likely won't.

General Commentnew box car racer album came out yesterday and it is SICK. fucking good shit. And I is rad, I'm feeling Travis's hip hop drumming at the beginning. he definitely shines on this album, and he fucking tore it up on this song. box car is like a dark, heavy blink 182, and it's sweet. this song is, of course, about a girl that a guy wants and apparently cant have, pretty simple. it's something most all of us guys can relate to. spread the word, box car is here

General CommentThis song is great. Tom's vocals make it better. I think it's about a guy who really likes this one girl that everyone else likes, but she won't notice him. And he feels lost and out of place and feels that waiting for her, when she doesn't even know who he is, is dumb. But he needs her. Great song.

General Commentit's about a guy with some issues who wants this chick, and the idea that she could be with him pulls him through all his troubles and all

General Commenti agree with littlelostemoboy and his interpretation... this is my favorite song on the cd i just think the beat and Tom's voice make it so powerful and it stands out more than the rest to me.
