"Happy Hour" as written by and Dave/hall Rick....
In this happy sing-song hell hole
In this torture house of glee
In this perfect playpen prison
There's so much to do and see

On this euthanasia morning
Colorful carnival of pain
Let us drink delicious poison
If they won't let us,
let's complain

Genetic engineers
Crucified our sacred hymns
While flesh fell off our bodies
And we lost our limbs

General CommentVery powerful song. In an interview with Mark Prindle, John S. Hall was discussing the various topics in his songs, and when he mentioned putting up with what you're given in life, he mentioned "Happy Hour". I think the song is just about how no matter what happens to you in your life or what limits you, you always have memories and the peace of your mind.
