General CommentThis song is about Doug Pinnick's childhood with his grandmother, a christian woman that went to church every day, and every night she would sing/pray about how much she loved Jesus, while young Doug sat in his room depressed/confused about how she could love Jesus so much, when she never ever told him she loved him, and would tell him that nobody wanted him (because, obviously, neither of his parents "loved him enough to raise him".) -Doug Pinnick tells the audience this story at the end of singing this song on the "Best of King's X" album.
