"Across Waters" as written by and Simon Frank Grenehed Christian Thell Lindskog....
That day I woke up, screaming of emptiness
A thought crushed my mind
To all of them she's just a worn-out dress
They can seek but not find
Time pass please this day of rain
I'm in this world and she's in another
Her fragile voice of sorrow let my brain go insane
I'm in this world and she's in another

And You must be my arms around her now

We both agreed on this choice
To let me be helpless
And she to stick to your voice
Me to my knees everyday I guess

Leave footprints on hermyour floor tonight
To slumber in Your light
Let hermeus sleep with angels tonight
Can't even breathe without holding you tight

Trade my will against yours
Is something I'd rather say then do
I want to kick down some doors
For me to see through
But she believes in love
Makes this distance pass
She sees the dove
Makes me stay and not trespass

And you must be her arms around me now

I'll make you a promise
To bring her safe home

General Commentno one has commented on this? This has got to be one of the best Christian hardcore songs out there!!!! It`s about this chick that this guy loves and she`s hurt and used and what not and he feels for her totally but he realizes how small and helpless he is compared to how much God can help her so he just prays for her and is willing to let God work through her

General CommentI think 'Across Waters Again' sheds a better light on this song.
It's about Christian's (the singer) relationship with the woman who (if not yet) will later become his wife.
A long distance relationship ("But she believes in love,
Makes this distance pass") where the most they can do is pray for each other: "And she to stick to Your voice
Me to my knees everyday I guess."

General CommentWow. I've never heard this one, but the lyrics are so raw, pretty much like all of their stuff.
To me it speaks of either one of two things:
A girl he loves and cares about deeply that has not been saved by Jesus, and so, adhering to God's instructions, he keeps himself back from her, and prays that God would keep her safe, and be the love she needs and is searching for.
    OR...
He's praying the same about His future wife, who he's longing to meet.

General CommentThese are good ideas, and I like your first explanation Danyasaur, but here is what I make of this song:

"We both agreed on this choice
    To let me be helpless
And she to stick to your voice"
This song is about two people in a relationship who have to break up because the woman has a calling from God that the guy can't be a part of. Maybe she wants to be a missionary but the guy can't follow. He is left helpless because they are separated. All he can do is:

"Me to my knees everyday I guess"
Which means just seek God in prayer.

    "Trade my will against yours
Is something I'd rather say then do"
He knows it is the will of God to separate, but really doesn't want to.

    "She sees the dove
Makes me stay and not trespass"
The dove could be Jesus, the Holy Spirit, her calling, love for other people, really anything. But whatever it is, it makes him stay and not trespass, which means she is taken away from him by this calling.

Anyway, this is my interpretation. Great song.
