"She Loves You" as written by and P. Mccartney J. Lennon....
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah

You think you've lost your love
Well, I saw her yesterday-yi-yay
It's you she's thinking of
And she told me what to say-yi-yay

She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad

She said you hurt her so
She almost lost her mind
And now she says she knows
You're not the hurting kind

She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad

Oo, she loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
With a love like that
You know you should be glad

You know it's up to you
I think it's only fair
Pride can hurt you too
Apologize to her

Because she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad

Oo, she loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

General CommentThis is the absolute premier rock/pop tune of all time. I remember at the time it sounded to me like something from another world. I'd never heard anything like it. Still today, as a musician, I marvel at how well crafted the tune is. Where did they come up with those chord changes and haunting harmonies so early in their career? This may be the best, most perfectly written song the Beatles ever did. "yeah yeah yeah" maye seem simple but don't kid yourself, rock doesn't get any better than this!

General CommentA couple thaty loves each other ("you think you've lost your love", he loves her, "she loves you", she loves him) got in a fight ("pride can hurt you too", he wont change his mind, he still thinks he's right and she's wrong, "apologize to her" for not valuing her opinion and saying those things)- and they said terrible things to each other ("she said you hurt her so") but the girl has swallowed her pride and told her lover's friend that she wants to make up and she loves him. The friend of the lover tells him to go back to her because he knows they love each other. Very high school- going through friends, not swallowing your pride, saying love a lot, a fight, the whole song is like a high school relationship. Also, the word "yeah" is frequently used by highschoolers.
    In summation:
The singer's friend got in a fight with his girlfriend, the girlfriend told the singer to tell the boyfriend that she loves him and she still wants to be with him, and the singer is trying to get his friend to swallow his pride and go back to his love.

General CommentMaybe the singer likes the girl...

"She loves you, and you know you should be glad" = Don't be so stubborn, say you're sorry, and be grateful you have her.

But maybe it's not that he (the singer, John, Paul, whoever) likes that particular girl, he just wants to be loved as well.

General CommentI think what made this song so great was that it seems so much more 'raw' than other 60's pop songs i've heard.

Love the guitar fills, harmonies and overall tune. Great song!

Far as song meaning? don't think it needs elaborating as their aren't any cryptic lyrics or anything. Just a great pop tune!
