"Saw You Drown" as written by Anders Nystrom and Jonas Petter Renkse....
As through your shattered eyes
It all came together
And your heart cries
Weeping through the weather
Another way to change your mind
I'm weaker than they say
To leave this all behind
The only way to stay

Don't you know
I'm the end of what we'll be
And right below us
The last thing you'll see

In the water
I saw you drown
Down the water
Saw you drown

As through my shattered sight
You're no longer here
And my heart cries
Sleeping through the light
Another way to change my mind
Never is the day
To leave this all behind
The only way to stay

General CommentI think it's very self deprecating. He's falling apart and blames himself for everything and that it was him that forced them apart.
The drowning is a metaphor for his moods probably, and she couldn't deal with it cause people are crap and just add to the depths instead of helping.

General CommentI think it's the end of a relationship, and the verse and the bridge is sung by the narrator, which drowns himself while the other person who is singing the chorus part watches, being scarred for life.

I think so because of the "The last thing that you'll see" before the chorus, and because it fits better with my own interpretation of the song.

General CommentI think thats a very good point D.B.
however i think it may be more metaphorical then that maybe?

maybe the "drowning" is as someone else said, and it refers to drowning in emotion/problems
