"God Of The Mind" as written by and Michael/donegan Wengren....
[Repeat: x3]
Get in get in get in get into now
Get in get into come take over me

Get in get in get in get into now
Get in get into like me

Time, not having an easy time
Never gonna have an easy time
Givin' the run around to me
I can feel it coming around again

Time, a changing a wasting
Come and get up in my face again.yes
Time, givin' the run around to me

And I'm not having an easy time
Never have had an easy
You know this time it has never gone easy
Time never have an easy
You'll never meet another like me

[Repeat: x2]
Get in get into like me like me
Get in get into like me like me
Get in get into like to me like me
Get into like me like

Get ready
Time never gonna die
Never gonna give into me
You want a deity like me
You want a God
But you're never gonna give into me
You want a deity like me [Repeat: x2]

Time, get it get it
Time, just another God of the mind
Time, get it get it
Time, just another God of the mind

Time, never had an easy
You know this time it has never gone easy
Time, never had an easy
You'll never meet another like me

General Commentsnmsince1989, I agree with you for the most part, but could "Time is just another God of the Mind" also mean that we are never free from it? If you think about it, a god (no, I'm not bashing any religions here) is something omnipotent. It is all seeing, all knowing and never escapable. Time is very similar, we may lose track of time but it keeps on beating like an endless and determined war drum.

My OpinionLets agree Gods do exist.

Lets also agree that gods are immortal, imperceivable entities whom exist throughout the universe and control every aspect of our lives.

I think this song relates time as a god.

We must be at the train station at the right time to catch the train. We must be at work/school at a certain time. Deadlines, meetings, days, seasons, lifespan. Time controls all of these.

I think the song has a point.

General CommentThis song is about time, and how it controls us, but we can't control it, just like a god. We always rush at its call, we only think about whether or not there is time. Time controls us, but time was created by us. Time is a God born of the mind
