Eyes are, open words are spoken
Here's to the sunrise
Head is loaded cards are folded
Under the moonlight

Can you remember, you remember the last time
We woke up sober?
Can you remember, you remember the last night
You ran me over?

Are we halfway gone or halfway there?

Left alone
We're only halfway home
Sink like stones
Fall into the unknown

Break me down, I'm not afraid of you
Pull me under
Slowly drown, I never wanted to
Left alone to wonder

Mind is open, thoughts are woken
There goes the sunrise
Heart is broken, love unspoken
Here comes the moonlight

Can you remember, you remember the last time
I left hungover?
Can you remember, you remember the last night
That I stayed over?

Are we halfway gone or halfway there?

Left alone
We're only halfway home
Sink like stones
Fall into the unknown

Break me down, I'm not afraid of you
Pull me under
Slowly drown, I never wanted to
Left alone to wonder

(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)
(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)
(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)
(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)

Left alone
We're only halfway home
Sink like stones
Fall into the unknown

Break me down, I'm not afraid of you
Pull me under
Slowly drown, I never wanted to
Left alone to wonder

(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)
(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)
(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)
(Whoa-oh-oh) we're left alone (whoa-oh-oh)

For starters this song is called "left alone", now do you want to know about the biggest conspiracy known to the human race ?, if you do, keep reading. Come on people, haven't you noticed that 80 % of music lyric's are about the same thing. Here's four words for you "alone" "coming" "home" "fear". Blink 182's latest album "California" is all about the same thing. The songs "home is such a lonely place", "bottom of the ocean" "left alone" and "misery", are obvious give aways. It's a secret society alleged member, why don't you have a listen to the Kaiser chiefs song "coming home" or Rita Ora song funnily enough song called "COMING HOME", or Phillip Phillips song "home" who's lyrics are "just know your not alone, cause I'm gonna make this place your home". You see it's like this, the secret society abandon's there new pledges so there all alone, they destroy there hopes and dream's, they make them face there fears and then this person gets really depressed and sad, they have to try and make new friends and if they don't commit suicide, the pledge might just make there way home, at the end of twelve long years on the outer, alone. Have a listen to the foo fighters "learn to fly". Why is the destination "home" you might ask, well because that's all the people whom for our freedom wanted to do. Now let's see how long this post stays up.

By the way, the new pledge doesn't know the truth of what's really going on, they don't find out about the secret society until the 12 years are up. I was trying to say that the destination is called home because that's where the people who fought for our freedom would have wanted to be if they could.

i think this song is about someone trying to get someone else's attention and friendship(or more than friendship) and all they get is rejection and get made fun of by that someone else.

i think this song is about a friendship ending b/c one person is popular and one isnt and the popular one doesnt want to be seen w/ the unpopular one so he/she ignores him/her and says that they need some time alone... katie

i sort of think that this song might be about somebody that doesn't talk to or notice someone else..

Where does this song come from? I've never heard this one... I know it's not on any of the albums I have, and the only one I'm missing is the Mark,Tom, and Travis show...

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
