"Scared Of Girls" as written by Brian Molko, Stefan Olsdal and Steven Hewitt....
An introverted kinda soul
The earth did open
Swallow whole

[Chorus]
Careenin'
Careenin'
Careenin'
Careenin'

Her next of kin who lived in sin
Was asking god to let her in

[Chorus]

I'm a man a liar
Guaranteed in your bed
I gotta place it on the rack
Got a place inside it
Got a place inside it
Got a place inside it

An extroverted kinda girl
Did tour the world with MC5

[Chorus]

Her younger sister, had a blister
Where I kissed her on her thigh

[Chorus]

I'm a man a liar
Guaranteed in your bed
I gotta place it on the rack
Got a place inside it

I'm a man a liar
Guaranteed in your bed
I gotta place it on the rack
Got a place inside it
Got a place inside it
Got a place inside it

I'm a man a liar
Get into your bed
I gotta place it on the rack
Got a place inside it

I'm a man a liar
Guaranteed in your bed
I gotta place it on the rack
I got a place inside it

I'm a man a liar
Guaranteed in your bed
I gotta place it on the rack
Got a place inside it
Got a place inside it
Got a place inside it

General CommentI think the first bit

    An introverted kinda soul,
    The earth did open,
    swallow whole,

Could be saying how sensitive or introverted men are sort of put down by the brash, chavaunistic men, so it's like they don't even exist, and women can't find them.

General Comment It's an investigation into male heterosexual promiscuity. Do male flirts do it because they really love women or actually because they're actually scared with women and themselves. I'd say that they are scared of girls. - Brian Molko

General Commentyeah the song is about male hetorsexuals being scared of woman and there sexuality so they tend to feel they need to show there place or how man they are by going to bed with every girl.

General CommentI love this song, in case you can't guess. I have to agree with BloodLust's whole ethos of guys being scared of girls and having to prove their point.

Yes, the younger sister line is pervertedly arousing. But what about "I gotta place it on the rack"?!?!?! Is that some sort of trophy reference or more related to ZZ Top's "Pearl Necklace".

I also like the logic of the blue bathtub.
