"Three Days" as written by Radney M. Foster and Pat Green....
Wake up, what you been dreaming about
I ain't got a lot to say, but I could talk to you for hours
The way you talk, the way that you breathe
The way that your spirit moves into me
Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up

[Chorus]
I got three days to wash the road out of my soul
I got three days to love you out of control
And I wish I had a lifetime to hold onto you this way
Love can do some healing in just three days

Yeah, and hold me and help me understand
Why on earth I have to be such a stupid man
To live the way I do, dream the dreams I dream
So far away from you, yeah
Hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me

[Chorus]

Three days and nights to put some life back in this man
I ain't holding nothing back
You got all I am
Hearts and souls and dreams in the plam of your hand

[Chorus: x2]

General CommentThis song explains the exact situation between my girlfriend and I. this song is the greatest description and inspiration to people who are in love but live far from eachother. IT CAN WORK AS LONG AS YOU TRY!!!!

General CommentI got to sit and drink beer with Pat and Cory Morrow last August at one of their concerts...I asked Pat what this song meant and he said he wrote on his way home from being on the road. Upon returning home he only had 3 days until he had to leave again, so had so much he wanted to do but he only had three days, hence the title of the song!

General CommentMan, looks like alot of people outside of texas dont know who pat green is, and they are missing out! I saw Pat perform this song live solo and acoustic, and it blew me away! i thought the song was ok before then, but after that, its one of my faves!

General CommentI think sometimes in a great while there are songs out there that will get inside your head, make it's way to your heart.. then break it. This song has haunted me for a long time. Just a gorgeous piece of work. I'm Glad "1hottexan" commented on what it's about, and the story seems very plausible. I remember when Pat played in my friends' back yard, believe it or not; but "all the good things fade away" he's famous and now the rest of the country gets to share in a truly remarkable Texan. Check it out, it's great. Godspeed
