"Adena" as written by and Josh Caterer....
Untaken pictures of the two of us in love
With an unspoken word
Adena

Tell me how to feel
I can't convince myself you're real

Unwhispered promise lies between the lines behind your eyes
But I can't make it out
Adena

You move me with a kiss
And now I'm drinking till you don't exist

I can't be someone without you
I'm just crazy about you

I can see that I'm getting nowhere
I don't care about anything

I wake up dreaming about days we could have thrown away
I can hear myself say
Adena

General CommentSandra refers to Sandra Bernhardt, one of Josh's crushes when younger, Rubella is the scientific term for chicken pox, megan is a beautiful name and a damn good song, and i might be mistaken but the song 'paul' could be about saint paul, Adena was a native american tribe, but how that relates to the lyrics of this song i have no idea

General CommentAdena's also a (very uncommon) semitic name, which I'm guessing is the only significant meaning to the song.

which is great, by the way, I finally saw them play it live and they did it like they do on the album, as opposed to the weird chunky-guitar live version that's floating around on the net.
