"Walking on a Wire" as written by and Ryan Pope James Suptic....
I'm the one you've been hanging 'round
Just stop hearing any sound
Found you face down on the ground
Found a friend never could be found
I've been waiting around
Systems failing now
On your honor so I hear
It's never been your fault you swear
Is the union based on fear?
Tenement of tears
I've been waiting
Systems failing
Walking on a wire on the ground
Is this all your world tonight?
Is this all your world tonight?
Have to tell a lie
To avoid a brutal fight
I've been waiting
Systems failing
Walking on a wire on the ground

General CommentThis song is not one of their best... but it works for them, GUK has so many different faces- pretty huge contrast to Something to Write Home About eh?

General CommentMan, I saw this song done live a few months ago at the first show they did after recording in Providence RI. This song was the encore. This song was SO UNBELIVABELY AWSOME that i thought i had died. Nobody had ever heard it before, the power of the beat live, My single most favorite live music experience.

General CommentI heard this song live also, but it was after the cd had been released so i knew the song. But I agree with mighty in that the song was so fucking awesome when they played it live. They added on 2 minutes of instrumentals at the end, and then Matthew sang the words, "THe shit won't follow me no more" or something like that in replace of walking on a wire on the ground. and as he does a the end with the chorus, he sang this line extremely high and w/ so much emotion that it sent chills down my spine. Definately an awesome song on the record, but it pales in comparison to the live version
