"All Night Thing" as written by Clarence Burke Jr., Dean Paul Gant and Alex J. Masucci....
She motioned to me
That she wanted to leave
And go somewhere warm
Where we'd be alone
I do not know, what's going on
But I'm guessing it's an all night thing
Yeah it's an all night thing

If it's an all night thing
Nobody is gonna make it end
And if it don't begin
Don't worry that I'll take offense
And if it's an all night thing
And we fall like a tear falling to the ground
I'll never come around
And you'll never hear a word from me
If it's an all night thing

I walked along, feeling at ease
And falling like rain uh uh
Into her scheme
She won't let on what that will be
Yeah but I'm guessing
Ooh it's an all night thing
Yeah it's an all night thing

If it's an all night thing
Nobody is gonna make it end
And if it don't begin
Don't worry that I'll take offense
Yeah and if it's an all night thing
And we fall like a tear falling to the ground
I'll never come around
And you'll never hear a word from me
If it's an all night thing
Yeah it's an all night thing
Uh it's an all night thing
Yeah it's an all night thing
Mmm

General CommentIt's about a guy who has sex with a girl, and doesn't know what she wants. He is confused as to if she wants to be together, or just let it be a one night stand. He wants her to tell him if she wants to be with him or if this was only a one night stand. If it is only a one night stand, he won't come around anymore, or mention it to anyone.

General CommentI think it is most likely about a one night stand, but he seems to think there is a connection and just wants to know if there was indeed a connection. Ether that or its just about chris trying to lock down some tail!

General CommentThis song is about Andrew Wood's last night on Earth, last night using. It is about the girl who tricked him to shoot up for the last time, not about sex.

General CommentChris Cornell can wail...this must be what soul sounds like when a rock voice gets ahold of it.

General CommentIt seems like this project was a tribute to Andrew Wood if the posters are true about this song being about Wood. I also think "Say Hello to Heaven" was about him too, I mean it's the first on the album and this one is the last...

General CommentYeah, I see how this could be about andrew now...
Well it's an all night thing not a one night thing, so I dunno if one night stand works so much.
