my cheeks are red and now are swollen from the kisses
the strangers dance next to me
waiting on the sunrise or the armagedeon
it doesnt matter
which ever comes first
did you see those fireworks exploding far
and fade like tears
its where i waited
its where i waited
and please dont say that something is wrong
i was at the party you never came
and please dont say that something is wrong
i was at the party you never came
and you lie
our tickets folded and i hold it like a timebomb
keeps on ticking im counting down
the last stop on this line is Kumagai Station
it's as far as i get tonight
did you see those fireworks exploding far
and fade like tears
its where i waited
its where i waited
please don't say that something is wrong
i was at the party you never came
and please dont say that something is wrong
i was at the party you never came
and you lie
cruel minor change
when nothings happen
its still the same
the nights my stage
it won't be safe
we're just holding on again
waiting for the end
always hoping and
please dont say that something is wrong
i was at the party you never came
and please dont say that something is wrong
i was at the party you never came
and you lie

General CommentHe was at a party waiting for his date to come, but she never showed.

Clearly. from the way he's "waiting on the sunrise or the armagedeon
it doesnt matter, whichever comes first", he is upset that she didn't show.
