"Over The Rainbow" as written by E Y Harburg and Harold Arlen....
Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
In the land that I've heard of once, once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Oh, way above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Oh, way above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

If happy little bluebirds fly above the rainbow, oh
Oh, why can't I?

General Commentthis song, in my opinion, is about believing that there is a better place and wishing to be there at that very moment, when you don't think you can go on

General Commentwhen im depressed i lsiten to this song it just makes me cry.
for me, its about when everything goes wrong for you and your dreams fail and all you want to do is get away from it all and go 'over the rainbow' where everything is good.
