Comfortable lives in a capitalist democracy feeling safe and secure until they take it away consumed by greed pacified in apathy were disinformed to fit the norm that corporations and media created stimulated but constantly unsatisfied we are manipulated to value commodities higher than justice higher than equality higher than justice our standard of life is measured by what we own subdued kept happy and blind unconsiously confined kept on your knees no one bites the hand that feeds in a state of conformity where we value commodities higher than justice

General CommentObvious meaning, awesome song. The intro is kinda just there though... I don't really see how it fits with the song, but it sets the "mood" for this song. Maybe I just need a few more listens.

It's basically saying that we value our lives with what we own and what we've accomplished, instead of by how we treat each other. We're unconsiously confined to our own lives and we don't really care about our neighbors. Bribery may also be hinted in this song.

General CommentIf you relate to this song look for the zeitgeist movement.
