"Faces" as written by and Ryan/wanninger Jordan....
Broken down,
This place seems to have no face
There's no one moving forward now
They're just drowning in it all
Walking around in circles
With a never changing view
As hopeless as this all may seem
There's a reason for everything

Trust me, I know

I've been to the same places
And seen the same faces
Come and go
You're left wondering now
Can you resist somehow?
But you've fallen behind again
Not knowing where you've been
Just where did you begin?

And again
Faces blank like they've always been
Ignoring everything that matters
Just following behind
Always pointing fingers now
No, you're never the one to blame
I know you don't want to feel
Responsible for all that is real

Trust me, I know

I've been to the same places
And seen the same faces
Come and go
You're left wondering now
Can you resist somehow?
But you've fallen behind again
Not knowing where you've been
Just where did you begin?

General Commentthis is about a person, possibly a women, from a small town where everything and everyone look the same to her. she's trapped in a body with an illusion of who she was years ago and still thinks shes that same person.

General CommentGreenwheel said in an interview once that they got the idea for this song when they were in some small town in the middle of nowhere. They were at a bar and this lady was there and she had this obsession with the fact that she was prom queen in highschool...She still thought that was the biggest deal and she never really moved on. This is a great song.
