Lonely as the man on the moon
I am hollow as the pills I consume
You will find me lying in an empty room
You will find me in you

This is my last trip to the moon
I will stand right here with you
Take me where I'm safe from every sharpened edge
A place where I'm not held to a pledge

My life was made last night in your room
My fate was saved, so called, I can prove it to you

This familiar floor seems to be where I lay may head
I'm feeling more like a dog that's not been fed

I close my eyes and I pray for God to hold me close
But instead He sends me the one who loves me most
I'm suicidal from every thought that clouds my mind
I'm homicidal to no one but the hate inside

General Commenti think it's one of the best songs i ever heard. i suppose the song's about a girl who saved the singer from suicide (I close my eyes and I pray for God to hold me close
But instead He sends me the one who loves me most)
whatever, make up your own meanings...

General CommentAbsolutly a great song, and by far one of the best songs made by Simplistic. It is sad to see so little people recognizing Simplistic, but I have a feeling jusst like all bands, Simplistic will have that moment where people say "This is a great band" after they have been a band for numerous of years.
