Graffiti decorations
Under the sky of dust
A constant wave of tension
On top of broken trust
The lessons that you taught me
I learned were never true

Now I find myself in question
They point the finger at me again
Guilty by association
You point the finger at me again

I wanna run away
Never say goodbye
I wanna know the truth
Instead of wondering why
I wanna know the answers
No more lies
I wanna shut the door
And open up my mind

Paper bags and angry voices
Under a sky of dust
Another wave of tension
Has more than filled me up
All my talk of taking action
These words were never true

Now I find myself in question
They point the finger at me again
Guilty by association
You point the finger at me again

I wanna run away
Never say goodbye
I wanna know the truth
Instead of wondering why
I wanna know the answers
No more lies
I wanna shut the door
And open up my mind

I'm gonna run away, and never say goodbye
Gonna run away
Gonna run away
I'm gonna run away and never wonder why
Gonna run away
Gonna run away
I'm gonna run away and open up my mind
Gonna run away
Gonna run away
Gonna run away
Gonna run away

I wanna run away
Never say goodbye
I wanna know the truth
Instead of wondering why
I wanna know the answers
No more lies
I wanna shut the door
And open up my mind

I wanna run away and open up my mind
I wanna run away and open up my mind
I wanna run away and open up my mind
I wanna run away and open up my mind
I wanna run away and open up my mind
I wanna run away and open up my mind

General CommentThis song explains the unexplainable. It shows how people want to escape everyone and everything that bothers them. If you choose to runaway, then nothing will bother you. That's why I love this song!!!

General CommentThis is is my second favorite song from LP (The first is Crawling). This song is describing a teenager who got introuble with the law, then went on probation and now he's telling us how it was & how he felt like when on probation.

General CommentI think it does have something to do with being accused of something you haven't done...Just by being there etc...But not exactly get in trouble with the law about it...More like friends, family etc (Been there, done that). I relate SOOO much to this song and it helps when I've had a really bad day...

General Commenthey again....i didn't know what to write last time but i didn't really agree with nonoperational so that was the first thing i could think of.....lol.....well.....i think this song is just like when you do one thing bad, you get in trouble...right?? Then it happens again and it truly wasn't you, but then they blame you again just because you did it last time, or because your friends did it, or just because they need someone to blame. This song kinda 'expresses' how it feels to be accused like this. I actually know how this feels because i have a little sister and I get blamed for everything around the house....you know how it goes right? she breaks something and i get blamed...stuff like that....so ....... as always..this is ~*!LiNkInPaRkChIcA!*~
