I've walked these streets every night
So much
I can even tell the traffic lights
Will change on my count of 3.
1-2-1-2-3, yeah!

I've walked these streets every night
So much
I can even tell the traffic lights
Will change on my count of 3.
Green to red,
And back again.
So timed,
It's watching like pulling teeth.

So I'll fight the bad fight
On what I'll call the good team,
But in a bad fight are there good teams?
So I'll fight the bad fight
On what I'll call the good team,
But in a bad fight are there good teams?

Green to red,
And back again.
So timed,
It's watching like pulling teeth.

So I'll fight the bad fight
On what I'll call the good team,
But in a bad fight are there good teams?
So I'll fight the bad fight
On what I'll call the good team,
But in a bad fight are there good teams?

I'll fight your bad fight,
And your bad team,
I'll lose.
I'd put my money on you...
Alright!

1-2-1-2-3, yeah!
I guess I don't know
Your lights so well.
I guess I don't know
Your lights so well.
I guess I don't know
Your lights so well, so well.
Maybe one day I will...
Maybe one day I will...
Maybe one day I will.
I will, I will!

    General CommentPunkfish=a punk who swims......
But yeah, I kinda get that feeling from it too, but the "I've walked these streets every night. So much I can even tell the traffic lights will change on my count of 3." part fits right in with how I feel about my hometown.

    Solidairty, Love, and Unity,
    The oi fish.

General CommentFrom what I understand, the song basically relates how walking around your hometown that you know like the back of your hand to getting to a point in a relationship that you are so familiar with you know exactly how it will go.

General CommentThis song is about the beautiful streets here in Pittsburgh, and it's about taking a walk down these beautiful streets, strolling, getting to know yourself and getting to know the place you live.

General CommentEverybody says this song is about his hometown and getting to know yourself but I'm not certain that this is what he means. This song has a negative undertone, not positive. Whatever he is talking about he's talking down upon.

He compares the knowledge of the lights changing to watching teeth being pulled, something that I would think is bad... unless people from the NorthEast do some weird shit for fun.

He also refers to a bad fight. More correctly, your (or their) bad fight. He even says that he's going to lose this bad fight but seems to be comfortable with that since he is on the "good" team.

In short, I think the song is about how his view of society has changed from something simple and good when he was younger to something which he no longer understands and believes is bad.

Then again, I may have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. Just food for thought
