"Ready to Die" as written by and Andrew F. Wilkes-krier....
This is your time to pay
This is your judgment day
We made a sacrifice,
And now we get to take your life

We shoot without a gun
We'll take on anyone,
It's really nothing new
It's just a thing we like to do

You better get ready to die
You better get ready to kill
You better get ready to run
'Cause here we come
You better get ready to die

Your life is over now
Your life is running out
When your time is at an end
Then it's time to kill again
We cut without a knife
We live in black and white
Your just a parasite
Now close your eyes and say good-night

You better get ready to die
You better get ready to kill
You better get ready to run
'Cause here we come
You better get ready to die
Get ready to die
Get ready to die

General Commentin this song, Andrew W.K. promotes living life in the moment and living it to it's fullest.

meanwhile, emochris goes around bitchin and moaning about things he doesnt like but cant change.

hmmm...i think I'll stick with Andrew on this one.

General CommentAndrew W.K. is an amazing artist. I will not bibble or babble, but honestly he takes music to a new dimension and pours nothing but pure energy into his music. To do this is a talent beyond any other that any modern musician can comprehend. He is a diamond in the rough because in an era where there is nothing but whiny teenage punk rock, which don't get me wrong has it's own perks and intriguing music, but for someone to take a chance with these fans and make the usic Andrew W.K. makes proves he is making this music not just for money, but he is making music for the fans, for himself, and plain and simply for the love of music, which many current modern day artists fail to do. You can think whatever you will of Andrew W.K., you can bash his music, youc an bash his fans, you can do as you please it's your opinion, but I am on the other end of the spectrum and I will say Andrew W.K. deserves respect as a muscian because he does somethign rare these days, which for your information emochris whatever bands you listen to fail to produce in their music, Andrew W.K. suceeds in making catchy tunes with amazing music that makes youw ant to do what music is suppsed to do...have fun. Now if you can't accept my opinion here which many will agree with and many will disagree with then you can leave this site without saying another word. Now as far as emochris being an idol then my friends you need to open your eyes smell the fresh air and take your heads out of your asses. And well you can say whatever you will about me but I alone have the intellect of multiple chimpanezes, in fact I guarantee I am smarter than emochris and all his goons combined, and I also guarantee that I could beat the living flaming crap out of every one of your unappreciative asses. Therefore next time you want to trash a song or an artist you can do so because tehre is a such thing as freedom of speech, but you can't knock an artist wihtout at least admitting that the fans have a right ot love the music that drives the engines and fuel their motors....because to tell you the god awful truth emochris you sound like a little child bashing on the fans defending their favorite music....and honestly that makes you look like a real ass. I can dish the insults and i can take them so if you really want to make a battle about this you can do so...but as I see it I have...oh....the rest of my life to make you look like the cynical fools and assholes you really are. Good day.

General CommentPersonally, I enjoy the music because it gets my adrenline rushing, unlike any other artist that I know. Sure, other bands will allow to relate with their music, but none really get me up and headbanging, or air guitaring, or actually guitaring along with the music.

and for those of you "up in arms AWK fans" telling people to go back and listen to crappy depressing music, i'm living proof that emo and AWK can co-exist =D

General CommentDude, emochris, get a sense of humor. Andrew W.K.'s music is all very tongue-in-cheek, a fact blatantly obvious in the song "PartyPartyParty." You gotta take it for what it is, man. You can love one without hating the other.

General Commenthaha. if any of you perhaps get a chance to see a andrew wk interview, you'll see he is very, very, very far from a "party-till-I-puke" macho dude. before taking on his "andrew wk party sound" he did a ton of noise experiments and un-commerical material. Heck, a couple of years back he even played drums withe the BOREDOMS on their 77 drummer gig. its just really funny in my viewpoint seeing a noise musician becoming quite popular and seeing him on par with a bunch of other mainstream garbage. food for thought baby!
