"Wish I didn't miss you anymore" as written by Leon Huff, Gene Mcfadden, John Whitehead, Ivan Matias and Andrea Martin....
Oh yeah
Same old story is back again
She's not a lover, she's just a friend
I'm sick and tired for you to blame on me
Now you think it's funny
Now you want to spend your money on girls
But you forgot when you were down
That I was around

Call my lover, hang up, call again
What in the world is happening
Listen in, but don't yell at me
Isn't it ironic all you want to do is smoke chronic
Boy, you forgot when you were down
Who was around

I can't eat, I can't sleep anymore
Waiting for love to walk through the door
I wish I didn't miss you anymore

Memories don't live like people do
I'm sick for ever believing you
Wish you'd bring back the man I knew
Was good to me, oh Lord
Every time you say you're coming
Boy, you disappoint me, honey
How well you forgot when you were down
And I was around

I can't eat, I can't sleep anymore
Waiting for love to walk through the door
I wish I didn't miss you anymore

I can't eat, I can't sleep anymore
Waiting for love to walk through the door
I wish I didn't miss you anymore

One of these days, it's gonna happen to you
Missing a love like I'm missing you, babe yeah yeah
One of these days, when your dreams come true
That's the one that's gonna do it to you
Oh oh oh, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah

I can't eat, I can't sleep anymore
Waiting for love to walk through the door
I wish I didn't miss you anymore

I can't eat, I can't sleep anymore
Waiting for love to walk through the door
I wish I didn't miss you anymore

I can't eat, I can't sleep anymore
Waiting for love to walk through the door
I wish I didn't miss you anymore

General Commentmusically, this song sounds like it was recorded in 1984, but it kicks.

the formula maybe trite, but it's lasted. it harkens back to the old soul music of the 70's and 80's. and sure beats the syncopated Timbaland set!

General CommentThe reason for the vague familiarity of this song, could be that the music that accompanies the lyrics was originally used in an earlier song. I believe it was "Backstabbers."

General Comment**************CaptureYourAttention=)************* According to MTV, this song is actually called "Wish I Didn't Miss You." Staff or whoever can change the title might want to take note of that. This is a cool song.

General CommentA woman who is sick of the person she is (or was) in love with, a person she's found out to be.. well.. not all he's cracked up to be. Fooling around with girls and love, doing drugs like none of it really matters. But even throughout all of this, she still cares, thus the title 'wish I didn't miss you'.

Actually, this is exactly how I feel about a friend of mine.. -_-
