"The Birdman" as written by Michael Turner, Michael Maida, Chris Eacrett and Arnold Lanni....
Hopelessly a man starts to feed your day
Once he was there you never looked back
How did you think that his words might just fade away
He seemed harmless enough so you let him in and now you'll pay
I can't see him but he's stalking my thoughts
How does it feel when you can't concentrate?
I just stare
All of your daydreams are a seesaw for him to play on
How does it feel when he calls your name
You can plug your ears but it's not the same
How does it feel when he pulls you back
Nobody's wrong nobody's right the birdman wouldn't lie
Nobody's wrong nobody's right but I just can't trust him tonight
How do you forget a stranger that plagues your days
We arm ourselves when there's nothing to fear right?
Wrong
How does it feel when it comes to pass there's something there
But it's not quite right
How does it feel, does it make you mad?

General CommentIt is about a guy Raine saw in Kansas city and didn't talk to him but now regretrs it because he judged him too quickly and feels like he would have learned something from just talking to him. He says the song is about staying open minded and trying not to judge people.

General CommentI really am not sure what this song means exactly, but "a girl"'s interpretations sounds like it could work. This is really an awsome song. The paranoia and frustration that is expressed in Maida's voice is very powerful and emotional. Possibly their best........ on Naveed..... next to Starseed, Naveed, Julia and Denied. Their all good.

General CommentThis is an amazing song, supposedly about politics, a guy raine met it kansas. Or saw. This song is so underrated. 5 responses. Somewhere out there has like 140. In my opinion this is LIGHTYEARS better then SOT. Such a catchy tune.

General CommentWhat? What's wrong with everyone? This song is amazing, and it creeps the hell out of me. Raine's voice...is...no less than perfection.

General CommentThe Birdman is Satan. The song is about the weaklings that he preys upon. It is similar to Naveed Because Naveed was about the fallen angel that became satan, and how his own thoughts preyed on him. Now he's all grown up and evil and he's having fun.
