We wait and wait and wait and wait,
but it's as if you lost your heart when you found God.
I never knew you could disappear so
please don't get me wrong.
Did you really find all that you would need
was to look us all in the face and ask us all to leave?
Well goodbye, good friend.
I didn't know the invitation was our intervention.
It's as if you lost your heart when you found God.
I never knew you could disappear so
please don't get me wrong.
Did you really find all that you would need
was to look us all in the face and ask us all to leave?
You lost your heart for your soul,
and it misses you.
You lost your heart for your soul,
and it misses you. We all do.
We wait and wait and wait and wait.

General Comment"it's as if you lost your heart when you found God..."

oh, i know many a man who that's happened to in my life. Go off... find religion... become subserviant... come back and they don't think they are allowed to have fun with there life. 'Tis a grand shame to waste precious breath. If you want to find God, let him forgive you for having fun with your short time.

General Commentthis song is about the break-up of coalesce due to the lead singer, sean ingram, finding god and leaving the band. nathan then wrote this song to be played by the casket lottery, his band after coalesce.
