"Someday We'll Know" as written by Danielle Brisebois, Gregg Alexander and Debra Holland....
Ninety miles outside Chicago
Can't stop driving
Don't know why
So many questions
I need an answer
Two years later you're still on my mind
What ever happened to Amelia Earhart
Who holds the stars up in the sky
Is true love once in a lifetime
Did the captain of the titanic cry

Someday we'll know
If love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't meant for you

Does anybody know the way to Atlantis
Or what the wind says when she cries
I'm speeding by the place that I met you
For the ninety seventh time tonight

Someday we'll know
If love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't meant for you

Someday we'll know
Why Sampson loved Delilah
One day I'll go
Dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know
That I was the one for you
I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow
I watched the stars crash into the sea
If I could ask God just one question
Why aren't you here with me

Someday we'll know
If love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't meant for you
Why Sampson loved Delilah
One day I'll go
Dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know
That I was the one for you

Seeing you in February was great
Cliches all come true 'time heals all wounds'
I went to get us our ninth drink
And you ran out the door with another guy
I woke up on the floor with my shoes on
A smile on my face and I didn't even care

General CommentSo What if she covered? Some of the greatest songs are covers of old songs. I'm sure she wouldn't take credit for their lyrics either. Don't be ignorant. It's a good song and she did a good job on it. Why does everybody gotta be so mean to her!!!

General CommentThis song reminds me that sometimes we go through life without knowing why things happen, and sometimes we aren't even aware that they ARE happening. The focus of the song is this relationship that ended two years ago, and the singer is still questioning why things went down the way that they did. I think it must have been a really strong relationship that ended for a pretty complicated reason, but after all this time it seems the anger and hurt has just faded away. So now, the singer doesn't remember the drama and the bs... she just remembers all the love that was shared at one time and she is wondering how that love could have ended. It's funny, because that is a trap that every one always falls for... after a long time after a break=up has passed we always remember the good times and conveniently erase the bad times from our memory. Then we start to want for the old days, not realizing that the 'old days' were not as great as we remember... But anyways, back to the song... I think she is saying that not all of the questions we have about life will be answered... and sometimes we must search for the answers ourselves just to make life bearable.

General CommentPersonally, I think this song is about waiting. Like.. if we were MADE to be together, then we would come together again in the future. And if not, then we're not supposed to be together. All about fate and destiny. It's just questions that no one really knows the answer too cause only a) time will tell or b) we'll never ever know.

General CommentThis is so fucking gay, Mandy Moore did a cover of an awesome song written by an awesome band ,the New Radicals. And more then likely Ms. Shit Head Moore will get all this teeny bopper credit when really the New Radicals sat down and wrote this brillant song. This is so gay.
