These are lyrics from an untitled demo in the Mark Trombino sessions for the album "Futures" in 2004. A studio version, retitled "Over," was eventually released on the 2005 EP "Stay On My Side Tonight."...
Not exactly sure what I should say
Sorry that you're not my next mistake
I know you gotta hate me (heard it all a million times)
Keep your glasses on
It doesn't have to be that way
So don't be that way

You're over it, over me
I float away easily
Last words are let die and see
You're over me
(You're over me)

Tell me in the way I understand
'Cause everything I used to want, I can't
Now say it like you mean it (just tell me how it really feels)
Sing it back softly, ah
You gotta be strong, if you want it
Oooh

You're over it, over me
I float away easily
Last words are let die and see
You're over me

You've got your mind made up
Got your mind made up

General Commenti always thought that this was the end of 'christmas card' but on 'the singles' album it's down as a seperate track. it's such a pretty tune, and the few words that he does sing sound so emotional it's like he couldn't sing anymore anyway. thats what i think anyways...

General Commentisn't there two untitled Jimmy Eat World songs....one of which something like ''You are a liar, i am the victim''?

Anyway there isn't much interperatation nessecary for this song but it's a great one nonetheless. If you can say it in a few words go for it. Don't ramble!

I think it's basically just him watching someone in ''awe''.

General CommentThere are two Jimmy songs called Untitled, but one is a bootleg; it's not on any commercially released CD. Someone definitely needs to decipher it for me because I can barely make out what he's saying (on the other Untitled).

General CommentThis song is really rich in meaning. I think that his girlfriend cheated on him. "You stepped out" on me. Amazing song

General Comment[He comes to pick her up for a night out. As he's about to approach the door,] she steps out onto the porch and just glows under the doorlight. Her beauty radiates so much it leaves him speechless and in 'awe.' Short, simple, sweet.

General CommentThe lyrics are too vague and short to make any sense of them, but the music conveys that lack of focus well, and the song's just plain nice.

General CommentUm... alright... Make completely arbitrary meanings for songs all you want. If that's what you kids are doing, then...

This song is about Charlie Brown. His head has a somewhat unique shape, even for a Peanuts character. He was leaving to look for The Great Pumpkin one night, hoping to meet up with Linus along the way. Of course, he left alone, and the song is Snoopy's observation. Snoopy was preparing for another night as a World War I flying ace when he saw his owner leave.

    There you go.
