"Into Your Arms" as written by Todd Jerome Chapman and Y ....
I'm motionless, and love stands still apart from all the rest
And you're the only one who hears my voice
Apologies were spoken underneath the harvest trees
While our dreams fell down like autumn leaves

Its getting hard to pick myself up off the ground this time
And your willingness never seems to change my mind
And I'm falling into your arms again
I'm thinking that I should put my trust in him

Do you remember November twenty-second?
I could see your breath but your heart was vaguing
Maybe this is what I need, some uncertainty
But if I let it go, I could be risking everything

there's no day like today...

there's no day like today...

And your drifting far away...

And it's tearing me..and it's tearing me..

It's tearing me apart...

I'ts getting hard to pick myself up off the ground this time
And your willingness never seems to change my mind
And I'm running into your arms again
I'm thinking that I should put my trust in him

General CommentWhen Josh wrote this he was feeling really empty. He knew this person, and he trusted him/her so much. He always ran to that person, with every single problem, though the person was a backstabber, and shouldn't have his trust. But this was the only person that he could talk to. So he runs into this persons arms for help, every single time, knowing that something bad will hit him. If you don't talk to someone, you could go insane.

General Commenti somewhat agree with you, He was feeling empty and he did trust this person but i think the person is God. I can relate to this song just because i know how hard it is to be a christian and how hard it is to try and pick yourself up off the ground and God's willingness, as much as we should listen to him most of the time we dont, it never seems to change my mind, but we should put our trust in him.

General CommentHere's a copy of lyrics that's a little easier to read...

    emotionless,
life stands still apart from all the rest
and your the only one who hears my voice.
apoligies were spoken underneath the harvest trees
while our dreams fell down like autumn leaves.

it's getting hard to pick myself up
    off the ground this time
    and your willingness never seems
    to change my mind.
and i'm running into your arms again.
reflecting that i should have put my trust in him.

    do remember november 22nd?
    i could see your breath,
    but your heart was vacant.
maybe this is what i need.
    some uncertainty,
but if i let it go
    i could be risking everything.

    there's no day like today.
    there's no day like today.
your drifting far away and its tearing me,
    and it's tearing me,

    it's tearing me apart.

it's getting hard to pick myself up
    off the ground this time
    and your willingness never seems
    to change my mind.
and i'm running into your arms again.
reflecting that i should have put my trust in him.

As for the song, I think it's more of reflecting on how something turned out when you go and try do something on your own with or with out God's input.

    Just my two cents.
