"It's All About Us" as written by and Andrew Kenny....
It takes all I've got
To listen and not
Just come all apart
It's all about us

And it's never been wrong
To listen so long
It's my favorite song
But the ending is gone

I'll be the boy in the band just drifting
You'll be the belle of the ball
You know the one wasting time not dancing
And be the best of them all

And it takes all I've got
To listen and not
Just come all apart
It's all about us

But when you answer to me
"I know that"
I'm going to come when you call
Or you're alone in your room
And still the best of them all

General Commentbeautiful beautiful song. sometimes i wish andrew kenny's songs were more outwardly emotional, but then i realize they're all probably amazingly personal.

General CommentI first heard this song very recently, and I knew it would be a special one to me as soon as I listened to the lyrics. I'm reading them and listening to it now, and it really does take all I've got to listen and not fall apart, I feel the need to cry because of it's nostalgic and melancholy yet content feel. The instrumental is beautiful, even the screeching slide from chord to chord is musical.

General CommentSuch a beautiful touching song. The lyrics and melody and instrumentals are so well enmeshed. So simple so perfect.
