"If This Is It" as written by and John Victor/lewis Colla....
I've been phoning night and morning
I heard you say "tell him I'm not home"
Now you're confessing, But I'm still guessing
I've been your fool for so so long
Girl don't lie, just to save my feelings
Girl don't cry, and tell me nothing's wrong
Girl don't try to make up phony reasons
I'd rather leave than never believe

If this is it, Please let me know
If this ain't love you'd better let me know
If this is it, I want to know
If this ain't love baby, just say so

You've been thinking
And I've been drinking
We both know that it's just not right
Now you're pretending
That it's not ending
You'll say anything to avoid a fight
Girl don't lie, and tell me that you need me
Girl don't cry, and tell me nothing's wrong
I'll be alright one way or another
So let me go, or make we want to stay

If this is it , Please let me know
If this ain't love you'd better let me know
If this is it, I want to know
If this ain't love baby, just say so

General CommentCurious if this relationship should really be happening. And if it shouldn't be, neither of them should waste their time and just stop it before either of them get hurt. Even then, they can still fix this relationship and that's what they're trying to figure out... Great song, btw.

General CommentShe can't decide what she wants and he's probably a little fed up. He just wants to stop wondering what's going on and know already so he can either move on or be with her. I can relate to most of this song. Great song.

General CommentI really don't know how their Power of Love works so well in Back to the Future, but it does. However, I strongly believe that Huey Lewis and the News suck ass. The production in their songs is cheesier than cheese, everything is so clean and it's like this song belongs in a redneck south western bar, or with 40 something year olds wanting to think they are rocking out. No doubt people that like this song love Bryan Adams. Done with the hate - this has a good vocal part, that is undeniable.
