I don't wanna talk
You're too busy gone
You're too busy being strong
You can never guide
?????????????????? (Dunno how to hide?)
I confide something's wrong
What is it you see when you look at me
Am I all you hoped I'd be
Or have I become the ungrateful son
You know, the one you speak of

I remember back to when I was young
There was so much going on
We were very tight
Now we always fight
I confide something's wrong
Nothing's ever good
Nothing's ever pure
as you slam another door
Who am I to be
What will I become
I'm not a child anymore

Follow me out
Into the world
Wish there was some way for me to be heard
More that we shout
The further I am
We do this over and over again

To tell the truth I been getting through
everytime I pass through you
I've been moving on finally belong
I confide something's wrong
Maybe we can mend in a couple years after all the air has cleared
But I think for now I'll be moving on
I gotta learn to be strong

Follow me out
Into the world
Wish there was some way for me to be heard
More that we shout
The further I am
We do this over and over again

Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you turn away
Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you turn away
Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you turn away

Tell me what you see when you look at me
Am I all you hoped I'd be
You don't have the right
Everything is fine
Because I can confide

Follow me out
Into the world
Wish there was some way for me to be heard
The more that we shout
The further I am
We do this over and over again

Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you
Why
And we do this over and over again
Why
Why did you
Why
Why did you
Why
And we do this over and over again

Ice-Nemesis... " I dunno how to hide " is the lyric that goes in the place of " ?????????????????? ". Other comments: This is a great song dedicated to a betrayal between one person and his/her victim. This is especially dedicated by me, to a person I used to know, after he started to toy with our 'friendship', over and over.. In between attempts, he would apologize, and I would forgive. Well... one day I really wrecked.. him. Never saw him again. LoL.

This is an amazing song. One of my favorites by Dry Cell, if not my favorite one. It means that you've lost someone. The person has betrayed you. You used to be so close, now you just fight. And you just think back to that and look at the way things are now and can't believe how wrong things have become. And it happens over and over.

I don't quite agree with Aerion. The song is about someone you used to be close to, but that someone is more than a freind. It seems the song is to a parent, and Jeff is being a "Typical Rebellious Teen." He talks about being an ungrateful son and not ebing a child anymore, which are references that are almost blatantly directed at a parent. The parent in this case, is too busy to listen to him, and is very critical of his actions (Nothing's ever good, nothing's ever pure). The two fight, and Jeff is being pushed farther away with every fight. He's moving on and becoming independent. To further the idea that the song is directed to a parent, he suggest mending after a couple years, which is often the case with parents and children who fight in the teen years. A similar situation happened with me,and after moving to college (where I am now) the air cleared, and I mended all those fights with my parents. I'm just basing this song on personal experience and similarities to my life. The lyrics are strikingly reminescent of a parent-child dispute, though.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
