"About You" as written by William Adam Reid and James Mcleish Reid....
I can see
That you and me
Live our lives in the pouring rain
And the raindrops beat out of time to our refrain
And you and me
Will win you'll see
People die in their living rooms
But they do not need this God almighty gloom
There's something warm about the rain
There's something warm
There's something warm
There's something warm in everything
I know there's something good
About you about you
I know there's something warm
There's something warm
Good about you

General Commenti think it's about seeing the inside of the one you love.
even if life seems harsh and the relationship is strained, even if the person usually seems down, there's always something good in your partner that started it off and is waiting to be rediscovered.

i dunno if there are too many more beautiful love songs than this one, probably not too many.

General CommentThis song is actually (uncharacteristically) upbeat for the J&MC.
Normally, there is a much darker tone to their songs, especially the ones about love.

General CommentI think this is about finding strength and wisdom in experiences. "Good" to me is the same as being "Genuine" and "Open". It is trying to stay true to yourself- your thoughts and beliefs- when thrown into a den of confusion and chaos. I think "real" and "good" is finding meaning in relationships. Real is going out on a limb BY YOURSELF to profess to the universe just why it was that you loved another human being. Real is good and beautiful and honest.

This song is gorgeous and uplifting.
