"Over The Mountain" as written by and James Newton Howard....
Over the mountain take me across the sky
Something in my vision, something deep inside
Where did I wander, where d'ya think I wandered to
I've seen life's magic astral plane I travel through.
I heard them tell me that this land of dreams was now
I told them I had ridden shooting stars And said I'd show them how.

Over and over always tried to get away
Living in a daydream only place I had to stay
Fever of a breakout burning in me miles wide
People around me talking to the walls inside

Don't need no astrology it's inside of you and me
You don't need a ticket to ride with me - I'm free.

Over and under in between the ups and downs
My mind's carpet magic ride goes round and round.
Over the mountain kissing silver inlaid clouds
Watching my body disappear into the crowd.

Don't need no astrology it's inside of you and me
You don't need a ticket to ride with me - I'm free.

General CommentThis song is about Astral Projection, which is where your spirit travels outside of your body to anywhere you want. It is very hard to do but once you do it, your life will change...

General CommentThis song has a great beat gets you pumped up alil. It was wrote by Ozzy (leadvocals/harmony), Randy Rhoads(Guitar), Bob Daisley, and Lee Kerslake.
Robert Trujillo played the bass guitar and Mike Bordin played the drums. Mike did a great job on playing the drums :)

General Comment"paranoid live with randy roads, over the mountain flying high again, you can´t kill rock and roll"

This song "over the mountain" and the ones I mention above, tells something about the accident of Randy, this one is like the diary of the flight of RR when he crashed.
This album "diary of a madman" is very weird. It looks like ... you know.. a diary of the death of Randy Rhoads.

Diary of a Madman was written before Randy Rhoads died. Randy Rhoads had a big part in writing the album.

Actually, it depends on which issue you have of the recording. Daisley and Kerslake played on the original. They have since tried to sue Ozzy for not getting royalties, so in a way to get out of paying them, Sharon Osbourne had Mike Bordin and Robert Trujillo play on a rerecording, they pulled all originals off the shelves, and "reissued" Diary of a Madman with the new recordings.
