"Master Of The Wind" as written by and Joey/shankle Demaio....
In the silence of the darkness when all are fast asleep
I live inside your dreams calling to your spirit
As the sail calls the wind, here the angels sing.
Far behind the sun, across the western sky
Reach to the blackness, find a silver line
In a voice I whisper a candle in the night
Will carry all our dreams on a single beam of light.

Close your eyes, look into the dreams
Winds of changes will winds of fortune bring.

Fly away to a rainbow in the sky
Gold is at the end for each of us to find.
There the road begins where another one will end,
Here the for winds know who will brake and who will bend
All to be the Master of the wind.

Falling stars now light my way my life has written on the wind
Clouds above, clouds below, high ascend between the spirit
When the wind fills the sky and clouds will move aside,
There will be a road to all our dreams and for every day that stings
Two better days it brings, nothing is as bad as it seems.

Close your eyes, look into the dreams
Winds of change will winds of fortune bring.

Fly away to a rainbow in the sky
Gold is at the end for each of us to find.
There the road begins where another one will end
Here the for winds know who will brake and who will bend
All to be the Master of the wind.

General CommentIndeed, that was very stupid of LordElfstone. It is a song with DEEP lyrics.

I like the line "There the road begins where another one will end". Times change, and "the road never ends". Or, to be more correct, when it ends, you just find yourself walking - continuing - on a different road... nothing is as bad as it seems.

General Commentthe lyrics are typical of manowar and do not have any deeper meaning but they are quite poetic
this is one of the best silent metal balads ever written and was a personal favorite of mine for a long time

General CommentThis is the most beatiful song in the world ever, and one of Manowar's best.
LordElfstone, it does have a meaning, it's about our dreams, and that when it seems like they won't come true, and it feels like there's no tomorrow, nothing is as bad as it seems, every bad day brings two better days. You can see this in these lines:

"Winds of change will winds of fortune bring" and
"For any day that stings two better days it brings,
nothing is as bad as it seems"

General CommentIts about being the 'master of the wind'.... Or the 'master of your own destiny', same thing. Profound words by Manowar with metaphors to every cloud having a silver lining, strive for your dreams, the tunnel may have a lot of hardship but once you reach the light at the end, its all worth it.

General CommentThis song is clearly is the funeral song. Requiem..
    Many signs are present there:
The singer's spirit is communicating with the spirit of the deceased person, who is already far away.
"And there will be the road
To all our dreams" -- They had dreams together but the life is separated them.
"Fly away to the rainbow in the sky.." -- When somebody was cremated and his ashes is scattered in the wind...
"Gold is at the end for each of us to find" - Song brings hope that at the end of the world, they'll be together...
"There, the road begins where another one will end" the verse is about ending of someone's road the end means new beginning (maybe for the poet, as he should start new life without that person)
"Here, the four winds know Who will break and who will bend" - here is the moment when he is finally farewells the person's ashes and memories (at the cliff where 4 winds blow), he just states that the death didn't break or bend this person, it doesn't matter at the end as the spirit is alive...
