"I Want to Hold Your Hand" as written by John Winston Lennon and Paul James Mccartney....
Oh yeah I tell you somethin'
I think you'll understand
When I say that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand

Oh please say to me
You'll let me be your man
And please say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
Now, let me hold your hand
I want to hold your hand

And when I touch you
I feel happy inside
It's such a feelin' that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide

Yeah, you got that somethin'
I think you'll understand
When I say that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand

And when I touch you
I feel happy inside
It's such a feelin' that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide

Yeah, you got that somethin'
I think you'll understand
When I feel that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand

General CommentYeah i'd definetly aggree with that statement....the beatles rule, but as you can see in the earlier years they were just shitty old pop. Thank god that changed otherwise their music wouldn't have lasted so long.

General CommentI only listen to the 1967-1970 Beatles and this song is a reason why. The Beatles back then were more pop than rock. They finally started to play real rock towards the end of the Beatles. Come on do you really thing a innocent little pop band could have some serious drug addictions.

General Commenti understand what you are saying, but i think that its so good because everyone can relate. i think that pretty much all of their songs are a million times more meaningful but for some reason this is my favorite anyway

General CommentThis is one my fave songs ever - No other song sums up the feeling of young love as well as this does - The song is purely joyfull and happy.
I love this song - It just captures the carefree attitude of a teenage crush on a spring day so well :)

General CommentThis is one of my fave Beatles songs - It captures the carefree attitude of young love perfectly -
It may not be deep, or anything but "shitty old pop" - But I challenge anyone to find a more innocent and warm song :)

General CommentThe Beatles changed in their career because music changed. This was incredibly new stuff for the time, not just some shitty oldie. And jeez, how many different ways can people find to say every Beatles song is about drugs? It was definately intended to be "I can't hide." The original lyric scribbles are (were) on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame if you don't believe me.
