"Heaven" as written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance....
Love is forever, as I lie awake
Beside you
I believed, there's no heaven
No hideaway, for the lonely

But I was wrong, crazy
It's gotta be strong
It's gotta be right

Only wanted to stay a while
Only wanted to play a while
Then you taught me to fly like a bird

Baby, thought I'd died and gone to heaven
Such a night I never had before
Thought I'd died and gone to heaven
'Cause what I got there ain't no cure for

Oh it's so easy
What you do to me all night angel
I never loved, I swear to God
Never needed no one, 'til you came along

Here I come baby
It's gotta be strong, it's gotta be right
Only wanted to stay awhile
Only wanted to play awhile
Then you taught me to fly like a bird

Baby, thought I'd died and gone to heaven
Such a night I never had before
Thought I'd died and gone to heaven
'Cause what I got there ain't no cure for

I feel fast asleep, I feel drunk
I dream the sweetest dreams
Never wanna wake up

Never thought it could be this way
No doubt about it, can't live without it
Never thought it could be this good
You made love to me, the way it ought to be

But I was wrong, crazy
It's gotta be strong
It's gotta be right

Only wanted to stay a while
Only wanted to play a while
Then you taught me to fly like a bird

Baby, thought I'd died and gone to heaven
Such a night I never had before
Thought I'd died and gone to heaven
'Cause what I got there ain't no cure for

Got say, thought I'd died and gone to heaven
Never thought that I could feel this way yeah (thought I'd died and gone to heaven)
It's gotta be love (it's gotta be love)
Thought I'd died and gone to heaven heaven

General CommentBryan Adams is the king of straight forward love songs. He's lyrics work magic on women unlike may other things I've seen. =) If you want a good remix of this song and like techno/trance then get the one done by DJ Sammy with vocals by Do.

MemoryI don't know why but when I was a kid, I cried every time I hear this song. I didn't even know the meaning back then. Now I'm 18 and I understand that it's about true love. It still makes me cry since it reminds me when my best friend and I were together. We broke up because we couldn't keep up an LDR in college. It's been a year since we broke up and I still miss him sometimes.

General Commentthis is a great song, but i'm sick of hip hop artists tryin to remake songs like this...this, along with many other songs hip hop artists have butchered, is a song thats meant to b played how its written...leave it how it is

General CommentThis song will always have a special place in my heart. Two years ago, when we first met, my boyfriend played this song as we slept together (not sexual, really just SLEPT) for the firs time. The fact that he initially didn't try to make it sexual, but only romantic, is the best memory ever.
