hey
she good lookin
got her mojo cookin, yeah
wouldn’t give me the time of day
but if my occupation was a star in a constellation
we could get together in the milky way

and, everybody want to know somebody
everyone wants to drop your name
you need no reservation
no special invitation
no college education
if you’ve got fortune and fame

1-2-3-4
everyone I know wants to be a star
and we are, and we are, and we are
everyone I know wants to be a star
and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are
and we are

now im snapping
got my mojo cracking
got my whole thing happenin at center stage
shes there looking up at me
desperately in love with me
just cant get enough of me
if I’ve got fortune and fame

1-2-3-4
everyone I know wants to be a star
and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are
everyone I know wants to be a star
driving in a limousine eating caviar
and everyone I know wants to be a star
and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are
we are, and we are, and we are, and we are

1-2-3-4
everyone I know wants to be a star
and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are
everyone I know wants to be a star
wants to be recognized walking down the boulevard
everyone, want to be a star
and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are
and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are
and we are, and we are, and we are, and we are
and you are, and you are, and you are, and you are
and you are, and you are, and you are, and you are
and you are, and you are, and you are, and you are
and you are, and you are, and you are, and you are

everyone I know
everyone I know
want to be
oh I want to be a star
everyone I know
everyone I know
yeah, I want to be
yean, I want to be a star

General Commentyeah so...toby and ben and leo went to my high school. they were seniors when i was a sophomore. they played at our senior prom which was pretty weird, and they played a couple of other sets on campus while they were in school and in the following couple years. i remember how excited the school was when they first started getting radio play (only about 300 people in the school so everyone knows each other). they got a lot more generic pop sounding in order to get on the radio in the first place, but their music is definitely good.

General CommentI spent about 2 years trying to find this song after I saw Road Trip. It shows the guys playing for under 10 seconds, but I heard that tiny portion and was hooked on this song. Does anybody know the band's website? i need to check out some more of their stuff!

General Commentthey broke up, the only way to get their music is to order used cd's off amazon... they have no website... they do not exist... tis a sad sad thing that they have been over looked... i guess the mtv culture wasnt ready for them... oh well they are still amazing.
