"Manmade Horse" as written by Paul Anthony Dempsey, Clint Wesley Hyndman and Stephanie Ashworth....
Ask me how I am; ask me how I've been
And then stand and watch and hope and wait and with any luck
I will be an earthquake
And I will clear a space here
Where you can put pictures and silence and sleep
And you can stop asking 'cause you'll be

You'll be, you'll be, you'll be
Down in the centre of the earth with me
Now you see me
Now you don't bother looking twice

I picture myself like a column of smoke
And when questioned I see myself riding around forever on a manmade horse and you
And you

You'll be, you'll be, you'll be
Moving randomly
You'll be (yeah) you'll be
(Yeah) now you see me
Now you don't bother looking twice

So you can go
Through a wall
Keep it
Secret
Try not
To grow
You can't do it, do it, do it

You'll be
Riding around forever

General CommentSo many great sfk songs don't have comments yet! Crazy... Anyways. It seems like the person's depressed, unhappy with their life, but is hiding it. They want people to realise, to ask (ask me how I am, ask me how I've been), but no one's noticing at all. They're furious as people for not realising, but when people ask at all, they deny anything's wrong. But, they still think people should realise and keep asking (now you don't bother looking twice). This is such a great song, Paul Dempsey is amazing!

General CommentManmade Horse could mean a bus, a car, a train.
You get on it and just want to be borne - not knowing and not caring what your destination will be...
It means being afraid of making decisions, i guess.
"And I will clear a space here, where you can put pictures and silence and sleep, and you can stop asking, Cos you'll be down in the centre of the earth with me"
-doesn't that mean that you want to escape the pressure that your environment is applying against you?
