General Commenti think its about how neil is from canada, he came to the united states and it's not what he thinks it is, people are constantly running around, with the silliest cares in the world, day to day and he just wants nothing more than to be back home (in canada) living his life, for example, getting to know this lady

General Commenti dont know what it is about neil but he just sings about the simplest things in life and always seems to make a great song. Neil is a rock & roll god!!!

General CommentThis is my favorite Neil Young song...it's not the most uplifting song, but I love it. I feel like Neil is saying that he's reached the bottom and he knows that it's leading him nowhere. He's saying everyone wants to know what it's like, but its really not worth it. This was my theme song for high school.

Song MeaningKinda seems like its about being famous. Everyone asks him what its like and is excited about it, but he just wants to chill back home. It's off his second album, that's usually when artists get tired of stardum.

General Commenti can see how its about going back to canada, but it can be whatever. if your from a small town and you decide to move to a big city and then come home, then there you go. Just about being homesick in my opinion! great song! one of my favs, i just hate the "la la lala"
