Well, how come you say you will when you won't?
Say you do, baby, when you don't
Let me know, honey, how you fell
Tell the truth now, is love real?
So aw, aw
Well, honey don't
Well, honey don't
Honey don't
Honey don't
Honey don't
I say you will when you won't
Aw, aw, honey don't
Well, I love you, baby, and you ought to know
I like the way that you wear your clothes
Everything about you is so doggone sweet
You got that sand all over your feet
So aw, aw
Well, honey don't
Honey don't
Honey don't
Honey don't
Honey don't
I say you will when you won't
Aw, aw, honey don't
I feel fine
Oh, oh, I say
Well, sometimes I love you on a Saturday night
Sunday morning you don't look right
You been out painting the town
Uh huh, baby you been slipping around
So aw, aw
Well, honey don't
I say, honey don't
Honey don't
Honey don't
Honey don't
I say you will when you won't
Aw, aw, honey don't
Well, honey don't
Well, honey don't
A little, little, honey don't
I say, you will when you won't
Aw, aw, honey don't

General Comment:Foxyred is right, it is composed by Carl Perkins, but it was not sung by John. But, by Ringo. Ringo songs always have a place for me! I love how he says "Rock on George, one time for me!" So cute!

General Comment:Obviously about John loving some girl but shes leaving him, and hes saying don't. He seems too clingy in the song, which could explain why she is leaving. He loves every little part of her, he keeps asking questions about their relationship, and where has she been. and then he accuses her of cheating on him.
A little little could be "stay a little longer." You will when you won't could be her saying she'll met him somewhere or do something with him and she doesn't show up, but he still doesn't want her to go.
    In summation:
The singer's girlfriend gets tired of him being so clingy all the time and starts not showing up to dates and he becomes erratic and accusing.

General Comment:I'd just like to know what "Everything about you is so doggone sweet/you've got that sand all over her feet" means!
