"Strangulation" as written by Timothy Mosley and Trevor Smith....
I don't wanna feel a thing
When your hands close tight around my neck
And force the air that I breathe
I don't wanna feel a thing

Yes she was a young girl
'Bout the age of twenty three
But somehow the world never smiled down upon her
So she flew out on a breeze
She said: "I don't wanna feel a thing, I don't want to feel a thing"

Sure he was a good kid
But his phone it'd never ring
He got tired of walkin' a tightrope
Needin' too much to drink
So he got on a knee
He said: "I don't want to feel a thing"
But I know there's someone that loves up above
And want to fix you a dream
They want to sit down and think
They want to fix everything
And you won't feel a thing
You won't feel a thing

General CommentI can't believe nobody has commented on this song. The lyrics are pretty straightforward. I consider this to be one of mmj's best songs.

General CommentThis is a very sad song about life that just does not work out and death seems a good option, at least that’s what I think it means. It is sung though out the song that you won’t feel a thing in calm almost calculated voice that makes it seem alright just to let go of everything in this life but by the end it sounds pretty violent. Maybe it means letting go of all the pain or finding out that “strangulation” was not as painless as the songs makes it appear to be. Either way I think it is a great song, although not easy to listen to at times.
