"After Midnight" as written by and John W. Cale....
After midnight, we're gonna let it all hang out
After midnight, we're gonna chug-a-lug and shout
We're gonna cause talk and suspicion
Give an exhibition
Find out what it is all about
After midnight, we're gonna let it all hang out
After midnight, gonna shake your tambourine

After midnight, it's gonna be peaches and cream
We're gonna cause talk and suspicion
Give an exhibition
Find out what it is all about
After midnight, we're gonna let it all hang out
After midnight, we're gonna let it all hang out

General CommentA huge hit for Eric Clapton, this song was originally penned, recorded, and performed by JJ Cale. The tempo is slowed down in comparison to Clapton's version. The folky sound is what makes this song so great. I wish Cale's version got more recognition and more airplay.
