Has anybody ever heard of not sayin’ a word?
Always smokin’ on the herb, no time to sit and learn
This habit’s got to change
I’m not gonna have it or start it, mane
Look at New York City
A couple of months ago on the time span
Now that place is lookin’ pretty
‘Cause them folks stood hand-to-hand
In the Free Land
Get, get, get that man…his name’s Bin Laden
I won’t be satisfied until his body’s dead and rotten
Old and decrepit
Mark my words and yeah I said this
American pride, I’ll come too strong
For you to run and hide so you better play along
Prayers goin’ out to the heart of Oklahoma
Hand shake to the blood donors, smile at the PD on the street corner
This is true rap and out of my mouth it’s quickly sprayin’
America’s where it’s at, listen up
‘Cause I’m sayin’…

(Chorus)
Stand with me, hand-in-hand
We will prevail in this American Land
You can’t divide those with pride
Don’t even try, ‘cause you’ll get denied
I can’t believe, you made me bleed
You didn’t succeed, in the death of me
Now I’m back for more
My heart is torn
The ballad of a soldier
America at war

You took over the sky lines, hijacked the air lines
That was the first sign, for me to recognize
I’ve gotta get up, I’ve gotta take action
I can’t give up, I’ve gotta devise a RE-action
I’m speakin’ from the heart of my soul
America whole
Standin’ by me as I’m strong and bold
You cause a tragedy, thinkin’ it’s blasphemy
Why are you mad at me?
I’m just a staff, you see?
You have become my main competitor
Devisin’ a war plan and I set it up
Powell gonna BLOW shit up
I’m sayin’…

(Chorus)
Stand with me, hand-in-hand
We will prevail in this American Land
You can’t divide those with pride
Don’t even try, ‘cause you’ll get denied
I can’t believe, you made me bleed
You didn’t succeed, in the death of me
Now I’m back for more
My heart is torn
The ballad of a soldier
America at war

Man you thought it was a good dead but it wasn’t worth this
If you haven’t ever listened to me at least learn this
Turn this…around…bury the beef in the ground
Let everybody know that you’re sorry and that you frown
On the disaster you cause when you disobeyed our laws
The lives that you cost Americans as we pause
Lightin’ up candles for the whole damn world to see
The way we all came together meant the whole damn world to me
I can finally see why the life you live is so wasted
Your motive is greed, and your dreams are filled of hatred
You can’t blame this on any other soul but you
You thought that you had gotten away clean but we brought the whole damn crew
Thank you…you brought America together as we’re prayin’
We’re on a whole higher level because of your stupidity
I’m sayin’…

(Chorus)
Stand with me, hand-in-hand
We will prevail in this American Land
You can’t divide those with pride
Don’t even try, ‘cause you’ll get denied
I can’t believe, you made me bleed
You didn’t succeed, in the death of me
Now I’m back for more
My heart is torn
The ballad of a soldier
America at war
(Repeat)

General CommentIt's a song I composed during and well after the Sept. 11th tragedy. Coming from and recently accepted into a family with massive military backgrounds, I took it upon myself to write this dedicated to those who lost their life for our freedom, and those who still dedicate their lives to maintaining the freedom their ancestors gained.
