Magic for me
Magic make no sound
It good for me
It good for me underground

Magic on me
Really got me down
Invade the city
It make my heart beat no sound

Beat no sound
Beat no sound (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Beat no sound
Beat no sound
Beat no sound (ooh ooh ooh ooh)

And let me tell myself
Tell on
She turned my dad on
She turned my dad on
Dad on
Dad on

Magic for me
Magic get me through
We pledge it money
People seem to walk through you

Magic's funny
Magic get me through
All good for me
When people seem to always walk through you
Walk through you
Walk through you (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Walk through you
Walk through you
Walk through you (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Walk through you
Walk through you
Walk through you

And let me tell myself
Tell on
She turned my dad on
She turned my dad on
Dad on
Dad on

She made me kill myself
Come on
Come on

She turned my dad on
Come on
She turned my dad on
Come on
She turned my dad on
She turned my dad on
Dad on
Dad on

    Song Meaning

not stealing ideas but since this information is legit, Coming from what i know, one person mention Damon wrote this song bec he remember his dad liking this pornstar. "she turn my dad on" that knock it down the meaning. However though i feel this song is sang in Damon's perspective toward his dad's interests.

"Magic for me Magic make no sound It good for me It good for me underground" Part here, it how he found no pleasure toward strips club . see how the lyric said it, magic for me.....magic make no sound, it good for me...underground in other word i would feel better if this is hidden.or taking off from the world.because this kind of "magic" is bring no pleasure.as magic make no sound.

"Magic on me Really got me down Invade the city It make my heart beat no sound Beat no sound"

Now this is really bring out the massage. Strip club and strippers is all over the town, which got him to feel..well, down and make his heart beat no sound..in other word he's unhappy.

"We pledge it money" // that part yeh the way it sound pledge it money..who it? well it as in strip club and hooker, we promise them money in translation.

"People seem to walk through you Magic's funny Magic get me through All good for me When people seem to always walk through you"

oh man this part was funny to me too haha, this lyric in other word is there strippers and club that tried to bring people's attention out there and he found it funny that how people just walk pass them and ignore them.(walk though you) and yeh it all good for him that people does that.

    so that's that.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
