To all the farsighted/
the sky’s never been so clear/
hello to the hopeful/
goodbye to the full of fear/

(The rockets are burning,
the dreamers are at full swing)/
The heavens have painted/
have brushed you with angel wings/
and you know in your heart/
that the farsighted see better things/

Hello you daydreamers/
hello to the in-between/
Behold all you’ve wished for/
promising things unseen/

Hello to the burnouts/
the left out and left behind/
for farsighted drifters/
one-of-a kind/

General CommentI love this song, I cant believe that nobody has comented on this yet. I havent thought a whole lot about the meaning, but I think the general idea is obvious. "The Farsighted See Better Things" refers to looking ahead in life and not being draged down by what is going on today. "Promissing things unseen" may refer to heaven, and how those who believe in it may have been called daydreamers by non-believers.

As for the rest, I would love to hear what others have to say. So, lets hear it...

General Commentlinked to A NEW HOPE, i think the song shows that when we pay attention to what God wants us to, or what he destined us to (born far-sighted, per se), we see his beauty
